I have the same error, no matter what I try. And only when I enable proc.
    Can’t load PROC
    Can’t start Gamecc_13, Object required
    Line: 429, Object required: ‘Controller’
    Line: 225, Object required: ‘Controller’

Having read various posts it seems this version of the installer is broken, apparently V1 works but I can’t find it anywhere.

It’s been a while, but maybe I have a solution:
it seems there is a problem with the game.py in the new code.
Line 1492 in the game.py (probably spaces instead of tabs)
    https://www.codecademy.com/en/forum_questions/519ab24b8d93808eb80001dc
The installer is correct instead, but it simply downloads a “bugged” game.py.

Anyway I have an older version of the code so maybe you can try this:

    Go to C:\P-ROC\games\cactuscanyon
Delete everything except dmd and sound folders
    Download the old code

    https://mega.nz/#!WEYUhTDZ!iVJwAVTu6nyhBjl_5kaCd6j4n87oavnC7RBmLb_me04

Extract the archive into the cactuscanyon folder.

Try it and let me know.

    ninuzzu,
With no replies after your post, I wanted to let you know, that your old code files worked for me. Replacing the settings with your files, I got my table starting without errors. Thanks a lot for the post. :good:

Everything seems to work fine for with the code, the sounds and dmd, however, when I try to start a game, it keeps searching for a ball and won’t start a game. From a conversation at VPU, it looks like maybe there was something to do with the version of core.vbs. I am using the core.vbs from 3240… should I be using a different version? Is anyone else having this problem?

You need the old code I posted on my previous post.
I’ll release a table update that will play the latest CCC code released by Erik Priebke.

Ninuzzu, I’m not sure what I did differently, but the first time I tried using the old code (in the link you provided) is when I started getting all of the error messages. I redid that whole process, and this time it worked! Thank you so much for your contributions and help in this community! I wish I had more skills and could contribute more. I marvel at the work you all do.

And, STAT, thanks for the suggestions as well. I did all of that too (nvram, redownload, validated core.vbs).

OH MY GOSH THIS IS SO MUCH FUN!!!! I just found my new favorite table of all time. I had no idea how much better it could be than the original release. Plus, I just scored 66 million on my first game. Woo hoo!

I had the original installed for a while and really enjoyed it. I just got the courage to update it to Cactus Canyon Continued today.

    WOW!!!

Thanks for the installer Ninuzzu, great work. You are right to say it take a while to download, about 40 minutes on the third try but has been pretty seamless once the download kicked in.

    Awesome love it.

Guys, got error on cactus canyon continued.
Just reinstalled it using version 1.2 of the table.
Everything works fine excepted that i cant start a game.

At Start, dmd display ‘open door…’ i’m sure that’s the problem but end key doesnt react.
I’ve already got this before but cant remember how i fixed this issue.
I’ve also, using non proc version, set freeplay and reset to factory while in game

Any idea of what i missed?
