I just checked my other computer and on their I’ve only installed it once, I used the 3.1 installer then I used the 3.2 installer and from the 3.2 installer I only use the installCCC.bat so it would update to latest Betty wav files And I have both games working..
In the tools folder I have the same files, except I do not have the registerVPcom.pyc….
Try using the 3.1 version to uninstall everything, And after you Uninstall it make sure that P-rock folder is empty you may even have to uninstall it 2 or 3 times you will get errors but it may remove more of the items if needed……………………………
Then re-install like I did and get cactus Canyon running 1st then worry about evil dead and
before you try Evil Dead make sure you backup this P-roc folder
I hope this help’s
Ia’m Running Windows 10 and VP 10.4April 21, 2018 at 8:25 pm #22514
Thanks I will try and let you know.April 21, 2018 at 8:49 pm #22515
Nope….Didn’t work. I downloaded the P-ROC 3.1, unzipped it in my C drive, ran the uninstaller, then reinstalled everything without difficulty. The game.pyc for CCC runs without difficulty, but when I lauch CCC from my visual pinball folder in my C drive… VBScript”Cant load Proc” error followed by numerous other errors?

@shannon1 Maybe you should try Daves installation.
That is his recipe for installing proc with updated python 2.7.April 21, 2018 at 11:11 pm #22519
Thanks. I will try.April 22, 2018 at 2:11 am #22522
Still doesn’t work, but I did get some additional info that I thought might be useful. When I try to register_vpcom_solenoids_skeleconfig.py I get the 194:Syntax Warning:import*only allowed at module level 1 def RUN (self,extra_arg:None) When I try to register_vpcom.py, I get Requesting elevation and retrying…
Both of these start out in the Select C:\python27\python.exe, but then open another box in Select C:\Windows\SysWOW64\cmd.exe before disappearing.April 22, 2018 at 2:55 am #22524
Are you running VP-10 in compatibility mode?April 22, 2018 at 3:20 am #22526
Yes, does that make a difference?April 22, 2018 at 3:41 am #22527
Yes and I do not use compatibility mode for anythingApril 22, 2018 at 3:47 am #22528
Also, when i ran echo%path%… I get ‘echoC:\Python27\ ‘is not recognized as an internal or external command.April 22, 2018 at 4:02 am #22529
Now that you have Compatibility turned off…. I would redo the Install with the installer from this website… uninstall everything and put it back onApril 22, 2018 at 4:16 am #22530
outhere, you are a genius. It was the compatibility mode. I can play CCC now, but it is throwing up a Microsoft Visual C++RunTime Library error on the backglass. Any thoughts?April 22, 2018 at 4:45 am #22532
Glad to see we are getting somewhere
I would say try re-booting…
These are the versions of visual C++ I have on my computer.
Either it’s looking for a certain version or you may have to turn
down some settings in VP..
I do not know what type of system you haveApril 22, 2018 at 5:02 am #22534
CCC working great now! Thanks so much for all of your help. Any suggestions on Evil Dead?April 22, 2018 at 5:40 am #22536
