Can’t get the backglass to work with this table 🙁

Chris did you rename the back glass the same name as your table? I am in the process of setting this up and can report back if I am also having trouble. I’m new to this but I haven’t had any issues getting a back glass to display once I renamed the file. Unless the backglass is looking for another name in the table script. One time I did have to do this to get Haunted House to work: – Change one line in the table script:

Search for the following code line
    Set Controller = CreateObject(“VPinMAME.Controller”)
    and replace it with
    Set Controller = CreateObject(“B2S.Server”)

So your ROM is a .zip named fg_1200af and placed in the ROMs folder under VPinMAME? Additionally, that name matches the line with cGameName in the table script? I would recommend re-downloading the ROM. Every once in a while ROM downloads seem to get corrupted.
If all that doesn’t work, please post some more info so we can explore more options.

The fix was to extract the bin file from the rom zip.
(because it was not located in the root of the zipfile, but in a few folders)
Then renamed the bin, zipped it and now it works :)

I’ve grabbed the ROM 3x now and tried it extracted and zipped but still no joy. Perhaps the ROM on the download server is corrupt now.

Thanks outhere, though like many attempts before, yours did not work for me, too, BUT when I started VPX in non force true full screen mode, it suddenly worked and still does, also in ftfs. Really strange and I have no explanation for this, but you guys with problems might try that also.

Now, that I can play it the first time, I must say, cool work, I like it a lot, really fun table! :good:

I’ve got the 1.1.1 version and VPX 10.5 latest rev and the lights on the Mini Playfield are not working properly, at start two of them are lit and some are flashing randomly and when you play the mini pinball the lit letters does not match the lit names which makes me believe the light mapping does not work?

I have the exact same problem on the Shrek table and I’ve also tried with VPX 10.4 same thing

I also did some reading up and checked the table documentation and I have no clue how you figure out how to link the lights to the LED PCB as it’s not in the lamp matrix, how do you know which led is which?

    From script:

    'Mini Playfield LED Inserts
    NFadeL 125, LED1 'B
    NFadeL 124, LED2 'R
    NFadeL 123, LED3 'I
    NFadeL 122, LED4 'A
    NFadeL 121, LED5 'N

    NFadeL 98, LED6 'M
    NFadeL 99, LED7 'E
    NFadeL 100, LED8 'G

    NFadeL 114, LED9 'P
    NFadeL 89, LED10 'E
    NFadeL 90, LED11 'T
    NFadeL 91, LED12 'E
    NFadeL 92, LED13 'R

    NFadeL 108, LED14 'L
    NFadeL 107, LED15 'O
    NFadeL 106, LED16 'I
    NFadeL 105, LED17 'S

    NFadeL 84, LED18 'C
    NFadeL 83, LED19 'H
    NFadeL 82, LED20 'R
    NFadeL 81, LED21 'I
    NFadeL 97, LED22 'S

Can anyone confirm if Mini Playfield works properly?
