This really is an unprecedented level of realism. I just hope it translates well to VPX.

The day that VPX does realtime ray-traced shadows, reflections, refractions on all of g5k and 3rdaxis’ work will be an amazing day.

Have been figuring out the flasher lighting and the GI lighting and how it affects plastics. Plastics are working a lot better than previous tables keeping their density whilst letting the GI transmit through.

Oh man, that looks incredible. I love the way the light disperses through the sling plastics. They truly look substantial. The light “falloff” settings on the GI are outstanding. Thanks for these new screenshots, g5k.

Ever since the flasher teaser pics I’ve been dying to see them on. Thanks for not making us wait. This is amazing and you are a masterful builder. Thank you for sharing your talents!

Attack From Mars was my incentive to build my cabinet. Looks like TAF will push me to 4K. FWIW, the flashers on my machine were a bit more blue. Temp looks off by one or two K. Unbelievably detailed.

Same here; just upgraded my playfield monitor to 4K screen (Acer ET430K) and videocard (GTX 1070) for the sole reason of beeing ready for this TAF release… The picture-porn simlpy didn’t let go

So just out of genuine curiosity, not trying to rush you. Once you’re happy with the maya version, how intensive is importing all of the resources?

Its a bit of a fiddly process unfortunately, there will also be problems to solve
